ESDC is a large and our program is well know to be overwhelming and busy. She keeps us on track, informed and engages all team members in a professional and emphatic manner. I’ve had the privilege to work with Dina has a colleague within SSC. Dina possessed a great attitude, always smiled and welcomed input from all around the table (calls via MSTeams). She is a very passionate leader who cares deeply for her employees. Her style is direct yet professional and always, always polite, receptive and a good listener. She will do well as our next generation of leaders in the GC. I only found out she has left SSC to join ESDC and I was so happy for her but disappointed that SSC have just lost a “good one”. I’m sad, very sad but at least I know she is ESDC’s gain and will do so well there for services to Canadians. True and genuinely a trustworthy leader with heart!

She expects her employees to do their best and give their best and ensure they have an environment to be successful. She cares for people, takes the time to help them, goes out of her way and often is taken advantage by some. There was one employee who was unprofessional and rather unstable and Dina did her best to support this employee. The employee had many domestic issues and was very verbally abusive and Dina did her best to provide resources to this employee. Any other manager who have tossed the employee or made it an issue. Dina has class and cares..you won’t find a leader like that. Worked for her for several years and would do it again.
