Whole CIC team is selling emotions. Even professional aren't immune to such emotional sales.

Same thing here, maybe worse - the favored one here is allowed be over an hour late every day without making up the time, plus has been enlisted to spy and report on the non-favored if they have a single hair out of place.

She has been promoted too quickly but she is not tech-savvy. Poor decision making. Lack even basic knowledge and expertise.

Terrible manager. No useful communications. Bad decision making about projects. Non technical on technical project. She listen to her favorites, not experts. If you have an option be off her team or you will be a second-class citizen. She has an emotional connection with one of her favorite developer who is already three years on the project.
